Detailed introduction:

Non-asbestos gasket is a special gasket material made on the basis of aramid fiber and high modulus NBR rubber. It has excellent water tightness, air tightness, and fuel tightness, good mechanical properties, oil resistance, temperature resistance, and pressure resistance. The application of this material covers medium load conditions.

Non-asbestos gaskets are used in many different industries, such as: shipbuilding, petrochemical, automobile manufacturing, power companies, pump and valve companies, compressor companies, refrigeration equipment, and various pipeline flanges and other mechanical equipment fields that require environmentally friendly sealing .

According to the different specific application environments of customers, we use our expertise in polymer material chemistry and physics to provide you with asbestos-free solutions to provide you with long-term stable high-performance products to ensure the reliability of your products.

The ASBESTOS FREE GASKET or NON ASBESTOS GASKET generally mentioned in European and American countries refers to 100% asbestos-free gaskets. It should be said that the translation into Chinese can be said to be "non-asbestos gasket" or "non-asbestos gasket", but in the Chinese market, some companies call gaskets containing a certain amount of asbestos (5-20%) as non-asbestos gaskets. The 100% asbestos-free gasket is called non-asbestos gasket. In view of this special situation, it is reiterated that all gaskets operated by our company are non-asbestos gaskets without any asbestos ingredients. Unless there are special circumstances, it will be explained in detail.

CAF: Asbestos rubber sheet CFS: Non-asbestos rubber sheet

1. Can only one non-asbestos gasket replace the traditional general asbestos rubber gasket?

In general, it is difficult to find such non-asbestos gaskets, because general-purpose CAF not only has high temperature resistance and chemical resistance, etc., while CFS, the rubber fiberboard, is mainly aramid butadiene rubber sheet/high oil resistance. While anti-corrosion requires the use of PTFE materials, most high-temperature industries and mines use graphite materials.

2. Why is CFS more brittle than CAF and easy to break?

The proportion of fiber contained in CFS is low and the content of filler is high, while the fiber content of CAF is generally 70-80% to maintain good tensile strength.

3. What issues should be paid attention to when choosing CFS?

Choose reliable and reputable manufacturers;

Conditions such as temperature/pressure/medium, flanges and bolts/nuts must be considered comprehensively.

4. Can you provide 4MM or 5MM CFS?

Due to the limitation of the material properties of CFS itself, we do not recommend the use of plates above 3MM but 4MM can be provided.

The above is all the content introduced by the non-asbestos board manufacturers. For more information, please follow the company's official website!
